Friends at OMS
I am so happy that I am at OMS. I can make so many friends. I am smart and they know it. I am so happy that I can communicate. It makes such a big difference. I know I can go to college.
I’m Yi, a boy with autism and global apraxia. For nine years, I was trapped in the prison of silence. It has been life changing since the discovery of a new teaching and communication method in March 2022. This blog shares some of my journal writings. Through them, I hope to show how I see, think, and experience the world as a non-speaking person with autism and apraxia.
