Music Therapy
Today I went to Music Place. I had a music lesson with Janice. She is kind and joyful. Together we played some music games such as clap hands, drumed, piano and songs. Nobody has done anything like this before and I love it.
I’m Yi, a boy with autism and global apraxia. For nine years, I was trapped in the prison of silence. It has been life changing since the discovery of a new teaching and communication method in March 2022. This blog shares some of my journal writings. Through them, I hope to show how I see, think, and experience the world as a non-speaking person with autism and apraxia.
